Position

The selected candidate will contribute significantly to advancing GUV technologies, dedicating 50% of their time to innovative research, including the design and efficacy testing of UVGI systems. A further 20% will involve the mentorship of graduate and intern students, providing both technical guidance and safety protocols under the Principal Investigator’s supervision. The remaining 30% will focus on self-directed research initiatives and the development of funding proposals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Prospective candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a field relevant to the role (e.g., engineering, microbiology, chemical biology) by the start date.
  • A strong motivation for research, excellent organizational skills, proficient communication abilities in English, and a solid track record of publications are essential.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • A keen interest in multidisciplinary research.
  • Proven capability to conduct both independent and collaborative research projects.
  • Prior experience in GUV research is highly advantageous.
  • Hands-on skills in bioanalysis techniques, such as PCR, will be considered a valuable asset.
